Go Greasers

In London a car rally took place with eight teams completing 2,500 miles from London to Greece.  Andy Pag, a 34 year old Greaser came up with the Grease to Greece race to raise awareness about the ability to run automobiles on something other than petroleum based products.  Way to go Andy Pag!  Keep the green going!

New Jetta TDI Expected to be Very Popular in US

The new VW Jetta TDI is an environmentally sound choice for VW lovers.  In 2006 laws were passed decreasing the import of diesel powered engines due to their impact on the environment.  The new TDI has a unit in the exhaust system which traps and stores nitrogen oxides and emits only nitrogen and water as exhaust.  The diesel powered VW's are in high demand.  Even the ones that are from 2006 are selling for more than their original sticker price.  VW is the first car manufacturer to market a clean diesel that meets U.S. emission standards in all 40 states.  Next Mercedes is coming out with their version of a clean diesel in November.  I can't wait!
